|Giulia Gatti is looking forward to her first season in EuroLeague Women|
The 25-year-old makes the switch to Schio having continued her unusual run of changing teams every summer, having previously stepped out in her homeland for Bracco Geas San Giovanni, Montigarda, Vomero Napoli, Pomezia, Pallancestro Pozzuoli, Pool Comense, Goldbet Taranto and Ragusa where she averaged 6.4 points and 1.8 assists last season.
Gatti made her senior national team debut at EuroBasket Women 2013 where she stepped into the team and contributed a useful 5.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game, to help take Italy into the last eight of the competition.
"I can't wait to start this new experience and be with a team of the calibre of Schio," stated Gatti after inking the deal.
"It will be a very important season for me and for the championship, but also for my first time playing in EuroLeague Women - the competition that every player wants to play in, against the best in the world.
"It will also be exciting to play in front of the supporters of Schio, who are very passionate and knowledgeable."
The former Italian League All Star joins Iva Sliskovic as the other new arrival so far.
