Dynamo Kursk, Istanbul Universitesi and Adana Botas will all appear in the quarter-finals of EuroCup Women after easing their way into the last eight of the competition.

Russian representation was doubled after Dynamo Kursk followed Dynamo Moscow into the next phase by waltzing past MBK Ruzomberok 65-41.

Already carrying a healthy double-digit lead from the first-leg in Slovak Republic, Kursk cranked up their defense during the second-half and restricted the visitors to a paltry 11 points to highlight their superiority.

Candice Dupree posted a clinical double-double of 11 points and 11 boards for Bo Overton's team, with Swedish guard Martina Staalvant the only player to make double-figures for the misfiring visitors.

Istanbul Universitesi also went into their second-leg holding a significant advantage after a blowout in their first clash with Aluinvent Miskolc.

To their credit, the Hungarian club made a better fist of things in the return game thanks to great efforts from Helena Sverrisdottir and Brittainey Raven, who combined for an eye-popping 53 points - although they couldn't prevent an 82-76 loss.

The hosts were rampant in a 30-11 first quarter and took their foot off the gas in the second-half, with Crystal Langhorne the star after claiming 18 points, whilst frontcourt colleague Irina Osipova pulled down 15 rebounds.

It was a much tighter affair between Adana Botas and the visiting Norrkoping Dolphins, with the tie finely balanced after the Turkish side picked up a slender two point success in the first meeting.

And, they used their home court advantage to cement their place with a hard-fought 60-54 success in the second match-up, thanks mainly to a big third quarter and a stellar 17 points and 16 rebounds from the experienced Anna Vajda.

It wasn't all plain sailing though, since the Dolphins caused an almighty scare for home supporters by hauling themselves back from a 41-30 deficit to get within a point with almost four minutes still remaining.

But, the home side maintained their composure during crunch time to see it out, helped by nice cameos from Michelle Snow and Sandra Igueravide who shared 25 points.

Johanna Kallman had 16 points and seven rebounds for the Dolphins whose first season in the competition was brought to a losing but valiant conclusion.
