|Sara Krnjic scored 22 points for UE Sopron|
UE Sopron claimed a third win of the season in EuroLeague Women Group B after Serbian duo Sara Krnjic and Jelena Milovanovic each poured in 22 points to deliver a convincing 74-55 victory at struggling Arras.
Still searching for their first success of the campaign, Arras started brightly with Ukrainian forward Olesia Malashenko scoring the last basket of the first period to give the hosts a 17-16 advantage.
But Sopron wrestled the initiative away from their opponents with some excellent defence in the second quarter which limited Arras to just 10 points, and meant the visitors led 35-27 heading into the third period.
It wasn't long before the Hungarian club extended the gap to double-digits as Krnjic scored at the hoop to make it 41-30.
As hard as Arras tried to haul themselves back into the game, it wasn't to be, and they could make no real impression.
Sopron were making their hosts pay from the charity stripe, managing to drop 18-of-19 during the contest to help keep their hosts at arms' length throughout the game.
Amber Holt made a winning debut on her return for Sopron, but it was Krnjic and Milovanovic who grabbed the headlines.
Malashenko was the only Arras player to reach double-figures finishing with 14 points.
