13. Rimantas Kaukenas (Reggio Emilia)
Veteran Rimantas Kaukenas led the way for Reggio Emilia with 22 points

Reggio Emilia made the clutch plays when it mattered most to edge out Krasnye Krylia 73-71 and complete a 2-0 series win to reach the Final Four of the EuroChallenge.

James White blocked Michal Ignerski's shot with one second left on the clock to preserve the win after a dramatic finish to a game which had remained on a knife-edge throughout.

Reggio Emilia, 75-63 winners in the first leg, were never allowed to get comfortable on Krasnye Krylia's home court, with a brief eight-point lead early in the second half the biggest they could muster.

From the moment Larry O'Bannon's jump-shot closed the gap to 63-62 with 4:44 to go, there was no more than a point between the teams until Reggio Emilia took a 73-70 lead with 12 seconds left.

It was the hosts who led going into the final minute after Victor Keyru put them 70-69 up, but although White missed with a three-pointer, Aaron Miles was off-target at the other end, and the visitors regained the lead through Andrea Cinciarini's jump-shot.

Troy Bell then stripped Demetris Nichols of the ball and Krasnye Krylia had to foul as Keyru sent Rimantas Kaukenas to the line, where he made both his free throws for a three-point edge.

At the opposite end, Ignerski made the first of his free throws and then deliberately missed the second, grabbing the rebound only to have his potential game-tying shot blocked by White before time expired.

Kaukenas led Reggio Emilia with 22 points while White had 15 and seven rebounds.

Nichols scored 20 for Krasnye Krylia, adding eight boards, while Ignerski and Oleksiy Pecherov scored 13 each.

O'Bannon also reached double figures with 11 points. Miles collected seven points, six rebounds and nine assists, moving him six past the landmark of 200 in the EuroChallenge and placing him above Travis Conlan for fifth on the EuroChallenge all-time list.
