|Sehernaz Cidal put in an impressive shooting display for Turkey, going eight-for-nine from the floor on the way to 18 points|
Turkey finished their U18 European Championship Women campaign in Vukovar on high note after overcoming Sweden with a strong second half run to complete a 69-48 victory and take seventh place.
It was a devastating 17-6 run either side of the third and fourth quarter break which proved decisive and knocked the stuffing out of a jaded-looking Swedish team.
The Swedes crashed to a sixth loss in seven games, again hamstrung by their limited offensive options, although will no doubt be satisfied to have made the top eight at the tournament.
Turkey managed to take advantage of the Swedish lack of firepower after they had found themselves 37-36 behind.
They put their foot on the accelerator as their opponents dried up as usual and sealed the deal with a 21-7 final quarter.
Sehernaz Cidal top-scored for Turkey with 18 points in one of the best shooting displays of the entire competition. She made eight-of-nine shots from the floor.
Moa Lundqvist had an impressive 12 rebounds for Sweden.
