Ukrainian powerhouse Azovmash have released center Arthur Long.
The 207cm American, who averaged 13.4 points and 6 rebounds in the EuroCup and 14 points and 6.4 rebounds in the Ukrainian Superliga, had disciplinary problems both on and off the court.
Long's contract was cut by Azovmash in the preseason after he violated team rules, but he was later reinstated by the club.
However, team executives were not happy with Long's dip in form after he averaged 21.3 ppg and 11.9 rpg in the 2005 FIBA Europe League and decided it was time for the center to go.
Azovmash will face DKV Joventut on Tuesday in the EuroCup.
