|A sight Brno fans will hope to see more often next season: Danielle Hamilton celebrating|
BK Imos Brno have continued their recent tradition of utilising Swedish talent in the pursuit of EuroLeague Women success by adding power forward Danielle Hamilton to the roster.
Hot on the heels of signing naturalised Swedish talent Ashley Key, Brno have snapped up the 23-year-old who will join up with her national team colleague.
The Czech Cup holders have also fielded Farhiya Abdi, Martina Staalvant, Louice Halvarsson and Frida Eldebrink during recent seasons.
Hamilton will grab her first taste of professional basketball and first opportunity to shine in EuroLeague Women after graduating earlier this year from Georgia Tech University, where she registered 5.5 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.
She also helped the Swedish national team reach the quarter-finals of EuroBasket Women in France where they were only denied a place in the semi-finals via a slim loss to the hosts in a classic match-up. Hamilton averaged 2.3 points and 1.7 rebounds-per-game.
BK Imos Brno will compete in Group B against Fenerbahce, Nadezhda, Wisla Can-Pack, Rivas Ecopolis, Uniqa Euroleasing Sopron and Lattes Montpellier.
