Angela Salvadores capped another impressive U16 European Championship Women by being awarded the MVP trophy. She leads players from five different countries on the All Tournament Team.

The All Tournament Team reflects the quality of the big players at the tournament, with wings Debora Dubei (Hungary) and Francesca Pan (Italy) joining centers Julia Reisingerova (Czech Republic) and Maria Vadeeva (Russia).

Salvadores first impressed at the 2012 tournament, earning an All Tournament Team place during Spain's run to the title in Hungary, and she has shown her quality throughout the 2013 tournament also.

She led her team with a steady calm, making countless big shots from outside or with clever drives to the basket on her way to a tournament-high 16.7 points per game. On defense she was a constant nuisance, creating timely interceptions on her way to 2.2 steals per game.

Dubei was another player to build on the experience of the 2012 tournament, leading Hungary to their first medal at this level in 37 years as they took bronze with victory over Italy. She averaged 11 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game, saving her best for the semi-final and bronze medal games.

Pan was Italy's leading scorer in tournament with 13.4 points per night, with her best performance coming in the quarter-final against Russia where she made numerous clutch shots on her way to 24 points. She was a big part of Italy's defense too, averaging three steals and 1.2 blocks per game.

Reisingerova and Vadeeva made a big impact in the paint, and both will play a large part for their teams next year as they are still only 15 years old. Reisingerova led her team to the final with 12.1 points and 8.4 rebounds per game, with a huge double-double coming in the semi-final against Italy.

Vadeeva had seven double-doubles in nine games, averaging 14 points and 13.3 rebounds per game. She was a constant menace in the paint, crashing the offensive boards to great effect.

The Fair Play Award went to the Italian medical team.
