| Diana Taurasi could not affect a win for UMMC Ekaterinburg but still earned shared Week 13 Top Performer honours |
Diana Taurasi and Erlana Larkins both put in great individual efforts in Week 13, but neither could do enough to help their respective teams avoid defeat.
Playing for reigning champions, UMMC Ekaterinburg, the American Taurasi conjured up 25 points, six assists and six rebounds for an efficiency ranking of 29, but it was not enough to halt one of the shocks of the season as her team crashed to league newcomers Kayseri Kaski spor 78-77.
It is the first time that the guard has earned the Top Performer honour this season, which is also the case for joint winner Erlana Larkins.
Playing in just her third EuroLeague Women game for Famila Schio after being called in to strenghten the Italian club's front court, Larkins stayed on court for 39 minutes in her team's 71-67 overtime loss to hosts Good Angels Kosice.
In those 39 minutes, the center managed to accrue 12 points, 17 rebounds and four steals, taking her season average to 8.7 points and 10.7 rebounds.
In that loss suffered by Larkins and Schio, another newcomer, Lynetta Kizer shone, picking up 20 points and 12 rebounds in her competition debut game.
