SKRELA OUT FOR FOUR TO SIX WEEKS
Les Bleues national team guard Skrela will miss the remainder of the EuroLeague Women regular season after sustaining a torn tendon in her foot.
She picked up the injury during last weekend's French Cup defeat to Tango Bourges and it means BLMA will be without her services for this week's crunch play-off clash against UE Sopron, when the winners will be favourites to advance to the post-season.
Even though she is known primarily for her shooting ability, Skrela has led BLMA in assists this season, averaging three per game, as well as producing an average of six points and three rebounds.
DABOVIC LINKS UP WITH MALJKOVIC
With WBC Novi Zagreb no longer able to make the EuroLeague Women play-offs, the club have agreed to release Serbian guard Milica Dabovic early so she can head to the French League.
Having celebrated her 32nd birthday last Sunday, the player is penning a deal with Lyon for the remainder of the campaign, where she will be reunited with Serbian national team boss, Marina Maljkovic.
Dabovic averaged 13.8 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game in the Croatian capital and also previously worked under Maljkovic whilst at Partizan Belgrade.
