|Ivan Daskalovic made 3 of 4 three pointers on his way to 12 points as Serbia beat Poland|
Serbia have finished the second round at the Dadu U16 European Championship on a high note, defeating Poland 70-62.
It was a tense encounter to begin the final day of action in Panevezys with the biggest lead of the game, eight points, only coming in the final 10 seconds of the encounter.
After exchanging the lead on five occasions, the Serbs finally claimed it for good with a little over seven minutes remaining as Ivan Daskalovic provided eight final quarter points off the bench, including a banked three-pointer with two minutes remaining, giving Serbia a five-point buffer.
The telling stat for Poland was their failure to make any three-point shots going zero-for-11 from beyond the arc. Serbia made seven-of-17.
Nikola Pavlovic scored a game-high 15 points for Serbia whilst Vukan Stojanovic and Ivan Daskalovic provided 14 and 12 respectively.
Grzegorz Kulka and Filip Pruefer both scored 13 for Poland.
