Turning Point: Ivan Daskalovic steps out of play lining up his three with four seconds remaining and Serbia trailing by three.

Game Hero: Okben Ulubay. Provided the goods in a tight finish. Scored 12 points in the final quarter including a pair of clutch free-throw to give Turkey a three-point buffer with eight seconds to play.

Stats Don't Lie: Serbia get 18 points from the charity stripe whilst Serbia only make 10.

Turkey have held on in another tense finish at the Dadu U16 European Championship Men, defeating Serbia 67-62 to move into the gold medal game.

After Serbia failed to make a three-pointer in the opening three quarters, Ivan Duskalovic gave his team four in the final quarter assuring his team kept in touch with the Turks. However, as he lined up to make his fifth of the night and potentially send the game into overtime, the small forward was guilty of stepping out of bounds, allowing Turkey to begin celebrating.

The first half of the game belonged to Serbia as Vasilije Vucetic made an early impact, scoring 14 first quarter points to edge his team out to a six-point lead at the end of the opening period.

Turkey were offered little reprieve when Vucetic was benched as Dusan Kovacevic entered the game to takeover from where the starting center had left off, providing seven second-quarter points, assuring the Serbs remained in front when the half-time buzzer sounded out.

But after the break, it was a renewed Turkish team that took to the court. Scoring the first eight points of the half, the Turks were in front by one and the Serbians were prepping for yet another tight finish.

Serbia have been the clutch team at the death in Lithuania and despite Okben Ulubay controlling the game for Turkey, the Serbs once more refused to be shaken as Daskalovic started to light up from beyond the arc.

Having done everything to keep Serbia in the game, it was only right that it was Daskalovic who was called upon to send the game into overtime. But with his foot in touch there was no time left for Serbia to pull off another miracle at the depth.

Ogulcan Baykan ended with 18 points while Okben Ulubay chipped in with 17.

Daskalovic's final-quarter explosion saw him finish with 18 points. Following his big first quarter, Vucetic could only produce two more points over the next three frame to end with 16.
