|It was once more Furkan Korkmaz who provided the points for Turkey, scoring 28 of his team's 51|
Turkey pulled away in the second half to see of Germany and secure seventh place at the U16 European Championship Men.
Turkey outscored Germany 15-8 in the final period to break open an otherwise tight, defensive game.
The lead had changed hands seven times with five ties before Baris Ulker's lay-up late in the third quarter gave Turkey a 31-26 lead - at that point their largest of the game for either team.
But the start of the fourth quarter was almost all Turkey.
Furkan Korkmaz's three-pointer started a 7-0 burst pushed their advantage to 42-30, and when Korkmaz hit from deep again with 2:31 remaining in the contest the lead had grown to 48-33.
Korkmaz finished with 28 points and eight rebounds in another outstanding display from the guard, while Enes Taskiran had 13 points.
Germany's big men Leon Kratzer and Niklas Kiel struggled to get untracked on the offensive end in a game where Germany as a team shot only 14-of-61 (23%) from the field.
Kiel joined Lucien Schmikale in leading the team with eight points, with Kiel adding 15 rebounds.
Kratzer was even more subdued with three points, although he brought down 11 boards.
