Dmitri Kulagin – Russia and Triumph Lyubertsy

Dmitry Kulagin showed up at the U19 World Championship full of confidence after his first season in the EuroChallenge with BC Nizhny Novgorod. With five points per game he had already given a taste of his abilities and he picked it up immediately with the juniors, firing Russia to a bronze medal with his fearless drives and good three-point-shooting. He rebounded well for a shooting guard and erupted for three 20+ point games when it counted most in the knock-out stages of the tournament.
