Alejandro Abrines – Spain and Unicaja

On a balanced Spain team at the U18 European Championship, forward Alejandro Abrines stood out as the Spanish captured another gold medal. He sparked Spain with solid performances throughout the tournament with good decision making, high shooting percentages and contributions on both ends of the floor. A true revelation since he never competed at a Youth European Championship before, he is now trying to break through at senior level with Spanish giants Unicaja having already made his first steps in the Euroleague.
