Jonas Valanciunas – Lithuania and Lietuvos Rytas

"Oh my God, so much potential," goes a song about one of the most outstanding youth prospects of Lithuania in recent history. In fact, it is not only potential that makes the 19-year-old Jonas Valanciunas a standout on every team he plays for. Pretty much unstoppable in scoring and rebounding on youth level, the 2.10 m athlete made fans at the EuroBasket in his native Lithuania go wild with his typical alley-oops after a pick-and-roll. His preferred weapon is the dunk, making sure he always has high field goal percentages.
