Tornike Shengelia – Georgia and Belgacom Spirou

Tornike Shengelia absolutely dominated the U20 European Championship Division B, carrying Georgia to promotion. But even after this strong display, he surprised people with a superb EuroBasket. With his team having qualified for the Second Round in Vilnius, the impact of the power forward could not be ignored. Though he was struggling on the free-throw line, he put up more than solid numbers for a young player and did not shy away from physical play to secure his team a fair share of rebounds.
