FIBA BASKETBALL WORLD CUPWith a little more than 100 days to go before the start of the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup, demand for tickets to one of biggest sporting events is growing rapidly and FIBA has announced the release for public sale of Day Passes on Monday 5 May at 12:00 local time (GMT+2) on www.fiba.com/spain2014/tickets.
Day Passes are available for Group Phase, Round of 16 and Quarter-Finals action of FIBA's flagship event. This type of ticket enables fans to watch all games played in one venue on a particular day.
In the Group Phase - played in Bilbao, Gran Canaria, Granada and Sevilla - a Day Pass grants access to three world class games for as little as €27,00.
Fans can enjoy the great value Day Passes offer when the action moves to Barcelona and Madrid for the Final Phase. The starting price for a Day Pass for the Round of 16 is as low as €60 and €80 for Quarter-Finals, with two games a day on offer for each stage of the competition.
Session Tickets, the last type of ticket to be unveiled, go on sale on Tuesday 1 July. Individual tickets for Semi-Finals and Finals (Final and 3rd Place Game) will also become available on this date.
