Draw results 2014 FIBA World Championship for Women
The Official Draw for the 2014 FIBA World Championship for Women took place on Saturday evening at Ciragan Palace.
 

Here are the four groups which consist of four teams each.

Group A (Ankara): 1. Brazil; 2. Japan; 3. Spain; 4. Czech Republic.

Group B (Ankara): 1. Mozambique; 2. Turkey; 3. France; 4. Canada

Group C (Istanbul): 1. Korea; 2. Cuba; 3. Australia; 4. Belarus.

Group D (Istanbul): 1. Serbia; 2. China; 3. USA; 4. Angola.

The Group Phase will take place from 27 to 30 September, and the Final Phase from 1 to 5 October.

In attendance for this milestone event on the Road to Turkey 2014 were distinguished guests including: the Chairman and CEO of The Coca-Cola Company, Mr Muhtar Kent; the Turkish Director General of Sports, Mr Mehmet Baykan; the President of the Turkish Basketball Federation, Mr Turgay Demirel; the President of FIBA, Mr Yvan Mainini; the Secretary General Emeritus of FIBA, Mr Borislav Stankovic; the Secretary General of FIBA, Mr Patrick Baumann.

They were joined by representatives of the participating team delegations - including head coaches and officials - as well as members of the Turkish and foreign media.
