Prior to BC Volgaburmash's game this evening, the Year of Women's Basketball was presented during a colourful opening ceremony.

The logo was presented and Ilona Korstin, the Face of the Year of Women's Basketball, addressed the crowd during the ceremony.

“This program is important for us all," said Korstin. 

"It will make this game even more popular in Europe. It will promote development”.

Korstin and her teammates went on to defeat USK Prague 72-57.
