After events in Wales and Scotland, it is now England's turn to host a basketball event in celebration of the Year of Women's Basketball.

All roads will lead to the Jesse Boot Wildcats Arena, Nottingham, the home of the Nottingham Wild Cats on 17th February for a day of women's basketball.

For the first time, three national finals will be contested before the final showcase event: the Lady Baller All Star Game.

The day will begin at 11:30 in the morning and conclude with the All Star Game at 17:30.

The first two events will show case some of England's young and up coming stars in schoolyear aged competitions. This will be followed by the Women's National Trophy, a competition open to Division two women's teams.

Keith Mair, England Basketball Chief Executive, said, "A full day of women's basketball in Nottingham, a stronghold of the women's game, is a further activity celebrating FIBA Europe's Year of Women's Basketball."
