Year of Women’s Basketball Project Manager will be heading to Scotland this weekend to see some of the activities related to the project that are being organised by Basketball Scotland.

On Saturday, Wender will be visiting Bathgate Academy in West Lothian to attend a Junior Women's training session followed by a Year of Women's Basketball event.
 
The following day, she will head to Dundee for the Tayside and Fife Under 16 Girls Development League which will also include a Tayside v Fife Under 12 challenge game. Year of Women’s Basketball events will be incorporated into this day.

“FIBA Europe is very proud to see how effective Basketball Scotland has been in promoting the Year of Women’s Basketball,” said Wender.

“It’s encouraging to see how Scotland is taking great strides in developing women’s basketball.”
