On Thursday FIBA Europe and Euroleague Basketball announced the teams participating in the Qualifying Round for the 2011 Eurocup and EuroChallenge.
16 teams from 13 countries will play for the last eight positions in the 2011 Eurocup.
The eight losing teams will participate in the 2011 EuroChallenge.
The other 24 participants in the EuroChallenge will be announced after the registration deadline at the end of June.
At the draw, held by FIBA Europe and Euroleague Basketball on July 8 in Barcelona, Spain, the pairings for the home and away ties will be determined.
The teams of the Qualifying Round for the 2011 Eurocup:

Spartak St. Petersburg
Besiktas JK Istanbul
The clubs advancing from this group will join the 14 teams falling short in the Euroleague Qualifying Round and 10 teams who have already secured a spot in the Eurocup regular season.
