Austrian Federation Visits FIBA Europe

FIBA Europe President Olafur Rafnsson and FIBA Europe Secretary General Nar Zanolin with the delegation of the Austrian Basketball Federation

On Tuesday, the Austrian Basketball Federation paid a visit to the FIBA Europe offices in Munich, Germany.

Federation President Hanns Vanura and his staff met with FIBA Europe President Olafur Rafnsson and FIBA Europe Secretary General Nar Zanolin to talk about numerous projects and possible cooperations.

Following a tour through the offices, the Austrian Federation also had a number of meetings with different FIBA Europe departments to identify common strategies in fields such as coaching, 3on3, communications and IT.

"We are always pleased when one of our National Federations visits our offices here in Munich." said FIBA Europe President Olafur Rafnsson.

FIBA Europe Secretary General Nar Zanolin added:

"Meeting face to face always improves the working relationship and thus we are more than happy to have our friends from Austria here."
