Artemis Spanou – Greece and Robert Morris Colonials

Artemis Spanou - Greece

The teams at the U20 European Championship Women Division B were pitted against a force of nature: Greece and star player Artemis Spanou. The 1.84m forward almost single-handedly took her side to the title, collecting six double-doubles in eight games on the way to being voted MVP for the second year in a row. Spanou's potential was as well clearly visible with the senior team during the EuroBasket Women 2013 Qualification Round, as she averaged 5.8 points and 2.7 rebounds in 11.2 minutes on the court.
