Sara Krnjic – Serbia and UE Sopron

In her last year in the youth ranks, Sara Krnjic had the possibility to play the U20 European Championship Women in her hometown Novi Sad. In front of family and friends the center excelled, racking up impressive numbers and dominating for Serbia under the basket. Though Serbia were denied a medal, Krnjic was a member of the all-tournament team. Having gathered valuable experience in the EuroLeague Women and contributing nicely to the relative success of Pecs, she made the switch to Hungarian rivals Sopron.
