Farhiya Abdi – Sweden and Frisco Brno

Farhiya Abdi made a name for herself as early as in 2009 when she shone at the U18 European Championship in her native Sweden, winning a bronze medal. The versatile forward, who rebounds as well as she shoots long jumpers fired Sweden back to Division A at U20 level and then made her first steps outside her home country as she moved to EuroLeague Women side Frisco Brno in the Czech Republic where she delivered immediately and raised some eyebrows all around Europe.
