Emma Meesseman – Belgium and Lotto Young Cats

Emma Meesseman is the face of a new generation of talented players in Belgium. The center stepped out on senior level at the Additional Qualifying Tournament of EuroBasket Women, averaging almost a double-double with 15 points and 9 rebounds. Later that summer she showed no signs of tiredness when she led Belgium to a much celebrated gold medal at the U18 European Championship, while also being awarded the MVP trophy. Her combination of height, more than solid technique and her determination make her a top prospect for years to come.
