Mariya Papova – Belarus and Olimpia Grodno

10. Maryia Papova (Belarus)

Playing back-to-back championships, Mariya Papova hardly had time to breathe last summer. The center was named MVP of the U18 European Championship Women Division B after leading Belarus to the gold medal and promotion to Division A, and was once more the Belarusian top scorer and top rebounder when she joined the generation above her at the U20 European Championship Women. When the club season started, Papova picked up where she left off in the summer, proving herself as Olimpia Grodno's major asset on their way to the EuroCup Women Eighth-Finals.
