Farhiya Abdi – Sweden and BK Imos Brno

Farhiya Abdi (Sweden)

Having helped Sweden earn promotion at the U20 European Championship Women Division B last year, Farhiya Abdi continued with her great performances in 2012, as she propelled her team to sixth place at the U20 European Championship Women, the best result of any Swedish U20 side. The WNBA draftee already had a great debut season in EuroLeague Women, and took the next step this season. The versatile forward is looking comfortable in Europe's premiere women's competition, leading Czech side BK Imos Brno in scoring.
