|The next 3on3 stop in Prague will see teams compete in seven categories, from U10 to Over 18 Masters.|
Having successfully defied the rain at the last stop in Bucharest, the FIBA Europe 3on3 Tour continues at the weekend.
This week the trucks were headed to the Czech capital Prague.
Players, organizers and fans might be hoping for some sunshine this time around.
On Saturday and Sunday, Prague will host the Czech National 3on3 Finals, with the support of FIBA Europe.
It is not only a premiere on the FIBA Europe 3on3 calendar, but also the culmination of the first ever CBF 3x3 Tour, which is organised by the Czech Basketball Federation.
About 70-90 teams are expected to take part in 14 categories. The deadline for registration is Thursday midnight.
Both, the competition for men and for women will feature seven age categories.
The teams will compete in the divisions U10, U12, U14, U16, U18, Over 18 and Over 18 Masters respectively.
Various prizes are at hand for the winners.
The courts will be set up directly in front of the Shopping Centre Letnany, the biggest shopping centre in Prague and the whole Czech Republic.
Side events and entertainment programmes are awaiting basketball fans, including a slam dunk contest and a three point shootout as well as funny court for the public.
The competition starts at 13:00 CET on both days.
