When it comes to basketball, Lithuanian fans have seen it all before.
The small Baltic country has recorded success at every age level in European and world championships and has played host to EuroBasket 2011, the most successful in history.
Even the demanding Lithuanian audiences though could not resist the temptation to watch and take active part once again in an exciting FIBA Europe 3on3 event.

After the enormous success of the 3on3 event last summer in Kaunas during the EuroBasket, it was the turn of the capital this time to host a tour stop on the day of the U18 European Championship semi-finals.
In collaboration with the Lithuanian Basketball Federation, five FIBA Europe 3n3 courts were set up next to Siemens Arena, the venue of the championship, and the games tipped off at 11 am on Saturday.

A total of 46 teams took part across five age categories, Senior Men, U18 Women, U18 Men, U16 Men and U14 Men.
The action continued non-stop until 5pm and included two celebrity games that raised funds for the charity set up by Lithuanian international Rimantas Kaukenas.
As always in FIBA Europe 3on3 events, there was a full entertainment program and all participants received a reversible 3on3 jersey as a gift.
