In four days, a total of 15,000 fans gathered in the city centre to watch the University Championship and the open competition.
The University Championship was held on Thursday and Friday, with 30 teams competing. After 144 games played, the champions were crowned.
The University of Valladolid won in the men's category, beating the University of Pais Basco in the final, 19-11.
Gold in the women's category was captured by the University of Murcia, who edged the University of Oviedo 10-8 in the final.

81 teams registered for the open competition, which took place on Saturday and Sunday.
A highlight awaited the fans on Saturday, as the participants showcased their individual skills in the dunk contest and the three-point competition.
Marieta Martinez was the winner of the women's three-point contest, while Lewdis Franco finished first in the men's contest.
Fernando Garcia put on the best show in the dunking contest, claiming the title.
On Sunday, the 3on3 stop in Leon concluded with the finals in six respective categories.
With 48 teams registered, the senior men's category was the most popular of the weekend. "Radamel saco su fusil" took it all in the end, defeating "No Altas Azo" 18-9 in the final.

In the women's category, "Leon Queens" were crowned champions. The team got the best of "Rulitas" in a thrilling final, 11-10.
"NBA Agustinos" won the U18 men's title with a 10-8 victory over "Corporales Team".
"Nuggets de Pollo" dominated "Bob Esponija" 12-6 in the U16 men's final, while "Pitufinas" took the trophy over "Aros" in the respective women's category.
In the U15 men's final, "The Magic Four" won against "Metta World Peace", 8-6.
The FIBA Europe 3on3 trucks are now headed to Ljubljana. The capital of Slovenia will host the next tournament on 19 and 20 May.
