FIBA Europe announced today that the EuroLeague Women Final Four will be held in Moscow.
The Final Four will begin on 30 March with Spartak Moscow Region taking on CSKA Volgaburmash and Bourges Basket playing Ros Casares.
The winners will meet in the final to be held on 1 April.
As women’s basketball is at an all-time high in Russia, FIBA Europe felt that Moscow would be an ideal setting for the EuroLeague Women’s top event of the season.
“We would like to thank all clubs which bid to host the Final Four. Unfortunately we could only pick one venue and we are looking forward to the upcoming Final Four which will be played in Moscow,” said FIBA Europe President George Vassilakopoulos.
“We are confident that the Moscow organisers will do a superb job.”
