FIBA Europe will be offering live streaming of the EuroLeague Women All Star Game free of charge on fibaeurope.com.
The game will be played on 8 March in Valencia, Spain and will be broadcast in its entirety beginning at 18:15 local time.
The All Star Game features Europe taking on the Rest of the World as well as a three-point shootout. Maria Stepanova, the 2006 FIBA Europe Player of the Year, will be receiving her custom-designed trophy during the game.
Experienced commentator Jeff Taylor will be providing live play-by-play of the event.
“We are delighted to be offering this service,” said FIBA Europe President George Vassilakopoulos.
“In celebration of the Year of Women’s Basketball, we feel that this is an ideal way to highlight our women’s players.”
“This further exemplifies FIBA Europe’s commitment to making the attractiveness of women’s basketball available to as many people as possible,” added Secretary General Nar Zanolin.
“The All Star Game is a way of rewarding our top players who get the opportunity to take part in such an event. In addition, all fans are rewarded by having the opportunity to watch these top players from around the world.”
The game will be available in all areas where television rights have not been sold.
