Foundation Launches Fifth Biennial Basketball In The Arts Contest

The Pedro Ferrandiz Foundation has announced the dates for the fifth biennial basketball in the fine arts competition.

The competition is judged in two categories, sculpture and painting. The winning entries will be displayed at the foundation, in Alcobendas, Spain, from April to June 2006.

The baskeball in the arts is just one of many programmes run by the foundation, a non-profit making organisation dedicated to the diffusion and promotion of Basketball.

Through the International Center of Documentation and Research of Basketball, the Foundation promotes the recovery of the cultural heritage of the sport of basketball.
