Playing in their first ever European competition, Danish team Bakken Bears faced an uphill task in game two of their play-off series with Mlekarna Kunin. Having lost the first contest by 26-points, Bakken needed a huge victory to advance to the Conference Final Four.
If Bakken entertained any thoughts of achieving their goal, they were quickly put to flight by one man. Kunin's Frederick Warrick had the hot hand and was unstoppable, making eleven three pointers from sixteen attempts and finishing with a game high 39 points.
In FIBA Europe Cup Men action this evening, the Bakken Bears hosted the Icelandic champs Keflavik SC in the deciding game of the Conference West qualifying round.
As the famous Swedish group ABBA said a few years back: "The Winner Takes it all". The winner of the Nordic clash between Bakken Bears and Keflavik - the Danish and the Icelandic champions - will win group A and will for sure qualify for the next round of the FIBA Europe Cup.
