It will be a new-look Nymburk who set out on the trail for EuroCup glory next month.
Israeli coach Muli Katzurin has stepped in to fill the gap left by Michal Jezdik, who ended his three-year spell in Nymburk and joined BK rostejov.
Katzurin is a legend of European basketball with over 24 years' experience to call on. He has penned a two-year contract.

| The 52-year-old led Israel to three European Championships in a seven year reign at the national helm, and has won two Israeli titles.
Katzurin welcomes Finland international Antti Nikkila, who has played in the Finnish, Greek, French and Italian leagues, to his ranks for the coming campaign.
"Antti Nikkila is a really hard worker, he is very good in defense, his legs are fast, he can block a lot of shots and whenever he has the ball in his hands you can be sure that it will end up in the basket," Katzurin told www.basket-nymburk.cz.
Michael Meeks, a 34-year-old 2.07m center is another new arrival.
He has been on the European scene for the last decade, competing in Germany, Italy, Croatia, Russia, and France, and comes with big-match experience from ULEB and EuroCup.
American Walker Russell has also signed a one-year deal in Nymburk.
The talented 24-year-old made a name for himself in NCAA, where he played for Jacksonville State.
Russell, whose father played in the NBA in the 1980s - comes into the Nymburk side in place of Maurice Whitfield, who has moved to Russia after four years with the Czech outfit.
Former Nymburk star Jiri Zidek - the first Czech player in the NBA - has called time on his playing career but returns to the club as press officer and part of the team's management.
"We are very happy to have him back at our club for his experience and basketball knowledge," said Rudolf Simecek, general manager of Basketball Nymburk.
Nymburk begin their EuroCup campaign at home to Latvian outfit ASK Riga on November 8. |
