BC Kyiv continue to ring the changes after failing to qualify for Round II of the EuroCup.
Following the removal of coach Viktor Berezhnoy, Kyiv have appointed Tomo Mahoric as his replacement.
Mahoric, a Slovenian, worked with Union Olimpija Ljubljana but left this team in October.

| During his career, Mahoric has achieved great things, including leading Lietuvos Rytas to ULEB Cup glory.
BC Kyiv participated in the Final Four of FIBA Europe League and EuroCup in 2005 and 2006 with the Italian coach Renato Pasquali.
Kyiv have also brought in former CSU Asesoft Ploiesti guard Sasa Ocokolic.
The sharpshooter averaged 20.5 ppg with the Romanian outfit.
Known for his durability, Ocokolic played all 40 minutes in seven consecutive EuroCup games dating back to last season.
Ukraine is also buzzing about former Kyiv star Stanislav Medvedenko, who has returned to the NBA after a year out of action.
The national team power forward has signed a contract with the Atlanta Hawks.
Medvedenko spent six seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers and won titles in 2001 and 2002 but struggled with back problems in 2004-05 and was let go at the end of that campaign.
Medvedenko had a back operation, lived in his native Kiev and returned to training last summer.
He started his career with Dendi Basket and Budivelnyk. Then, after spending a season with Lithuanian outfit BC Alytus, he joined Kyiv.
That season he won the Ukrainian Superliga gold medal. |
