Azovmash Move Forward Without Rimac

06.04.2007

If Azovmash are to win the EuroCup Final Four this month, they will have to do so without one of their valuable contributors this season after parting with guard Slaven Rimac.

The 1.95m Croatian averaged better than eight points a game and provided the Ukrainian team with a reliable threat from behind the arc where he shot 53.8% (21 of 39).

Azovmash and Rimac went separate ways before the recent game against Mavpy.

According to basket.com.ua, Azovmash vice president Boris Maletsky said the club and player "divorced" by mutual agreement.
