09.12.2006

Lokomotiv Rostov brought up a century of points to condemn Sibirtelekom-Lokomotiv to a 100-72 defeat in the Russian Superleague.

Rostov went into the game with an even record of four wins and four defeats but won all four quarters - by margins of five, eight, three and 12 points - to claim a fifth victory.

Sibirtelekom, meanwhile, slip to second bottom in the standings losing their seventh game in nine outings.

Kresimir Loncar took centre stage for the hosts, pouring in 20 points and collecting nine rebounds while team-mate Evangelos Sklavos weighed in with 18 points and 12 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Ural-Great became the latest victims of a rampant UNICS side who are still unbeaten after a 92-74 victory.

The Kazan-based side took a 26-17 lead in the first quarter and did not let the initiative slip at any stage as they extended their advantage steadily over the course of the match.

The hosts managed to draw the final quarter 20-20 but it was too little too late and leaves Ural-Great with a disappointing 3-6 record.

In the remaining Superleague fixture Khimky (Moscow Region) thrashed CSK VVS-Samara by a score of 99-50.
