29.08.2006

FIBA EuroCup side Lokomotiv Rostov have signed Dramir Zibirov from Dynamo St Petersburg, with fellow guard Eugeni Voronov making a permanent switch in the opposite direction.

Voronov, 20, has signed a two-year contract with Dynamo, with an option of a further season after averaging 8.7 points last season.

"I'm glad to play for such a strong team. My main task this season will be to play in the starting line-up and of course to be of big benefit to my new club," said Russia Under-21 international Voronov.

Zibirov has joined the EuroCup contenders on a two-year loan deal.

UNICS Kazan have also boosted their EuroCup squad by signing American forward Jarod Stevenson from Turkish side Fenerbahce.
