Virtus Bologna survived a tense finish to become the first team to book their place in the semi-finals of the EuroCup with a 59-54 victory over Turk Telekom on Thursday night.
Having won game one of the series 95-87 on Tuesday, Virtus came from behind in the final quarter to go through without the need of a third game. Virtus had led by as many as nine points in the second quarter but quickly squandered the advantage they had built as Turk Telekom kept it close the rest of the way.
