Turk Telekom won for the 18th time in 19 games in Turkey on Saturday to stay one game clear of Efes Pilsen at the top of the league standings.
Muratcan Guler led the way with 21 points while five other players in the triumphant side reached double figures.
Turk Telekom, who are also leading Group K with a 3-1 record in Round II of the EuroCup, moved into a 26-22 lead by the end of the opening quarter and extended their advantage to 46-36 by half-time.
Galatasaray kept the contest close with Gerald Fitch scoring a game-high 24 points, but ultimately fell to 13-6 on the campaign.
Drew Nicholas had 17 points and both Marcus Haislip and Turkey international Kerem Gonlum weighed in with 12 as Efes Pilsen (17-2) edged Besiktas Cola Turka (12-7), 60-59.
In Saturday's other games, Mersin moved into the eighth and final play-off place with an 83-76 victory over Pinar Karsiyaka and Tekelspor were thrashed at home by Oyak Renault, 80-64.
Second-place Fenerbahce Ulker improved to 17-2 with a 69-63 win over Darussafaka on Sunday.
However, sixth-placed Banvit were upset 70-69 at home by Mutli Aki Selcuk Universitesi, while TOFAS picked up a valuable win, beating fellow strugglers Beykoz 83-76. |
