Turk Telekom continued their domination of the Turkish BEKO Ligi with a 89-79 win at Darussafaka extending their record to 16-1.
Jan-Hendrik Jagla poured in a game-high 25 points for the EuroCup team with Erwin Dudley (16), Tutku Acik (12) and Mutlu Akpinar (12) also posting double digit scores.
Next best with a 14-2 record are Efes Pilsen and Fenerbahce Ulker who play CASA TED Ankara Kolejliler and Besiktas Cola Turka respectively on Sunday.
Neither team will be able to dislodge Turk Telekom from the summit, however.
Galatasaray Cafe Crown edged TOFAS 76-72 with Tofas player Rasheed Brokenborough and Murat Kaya of Gala sharing game-high honours with 18 points.
Mersin BSB managed to hang on to beat Banvitspor 83 81. The men from Banvit took the third quarter 27-18 to make it a one-point game but Mersin responded to take the final period 18-17.
Twenty points from Cihad Sahin were in vain for Beykozspor who lost 78-64 to Pinar Karsiyaka for whom Umut Yenice showed the way with 19 points.
Tekelspor had an impressive third quarter to thank for a 63-59 win over Mutlu Aku Selcuk Uni.
They took the third period 22-15 to establish a five-point lead which was trimmed by just one point in the last quarter.
On Friday Alpella beat OYAK Renault 59-51 with Caner Oner (18) and Marshall Strickland (17) impressing for the winners. Curtis Withers added 12 for Alpella. |
