Eva Nemcova may have won the title in 2005 for the Czechs but without Viteckova that title might have never been reality. It is fair to say that the “mean scoring machine” of Gambrinus Brno has been the steadiest pair of hands in the current national team line-up.  Besides her senior silverware, Viteckova won the FIBA World Junior Championship title in 2001 and the U20 European Championship a year later. She also won a pair of youth silver medals at the U16 and the U18 European Championships. In 2006-2007 she averaged 16.5 ppg in the league hitting an amazing 53.6 percent of her three-pointers. Not surprisingly she was voted Czech Female Player of the Year for 2006.
