JDA Dijon's woes continued on Saturday night when they were beaten by Cholet in France's Pro A league.
Jacques Monclar's side made it two defeats out of two in EuroCup's Round II as they suffered a narrow 90-89 loss to Akasvayu Girona on Tuesday.
They have been wobbling in Pro A of late as well, and they slipped to another reverse this weekend, Cholet grabbing a 64-53 home victory.
American center Taj Gray excelled with 23 points and 13 rebounds for Cholet, while Maleye Ndoye was Dijon's best performer with 12 points off the bench.
Cholet now have a 9-9 record in Pro A, the same as their vanquished opponents. Both teams are in mid-table.
Dijon will hope to claim their first success in EuroCup Group L when they play BC Kalev on Tuesday.
Another French entrant in this season's EuroCup, BCM Gravelines, had better luck on Saturday.
The Dunkerque outfit demolished high-flying Roanne 83-66, big man Uche Nsonwu-Amadi impressing with 22 points and an amazing 19 rebounds for the victors.
A win for Roanne would have given them sole leadership of the table - now they share it with Chalon-sur-Saone and Nancy.
BCM were knocked out of the EuroCup in Round I when they could only finish third in their group. |
