JDA Dijon rounded off a successful week both domestically and in Europe by beating Pau 78-72 in France's Pro A league on Sunday.
Dijon qualified for Round II of the EuroCup on Tuesday night when they saw off CSU Asesoft Ploiesti 98-86 to finish second in Group A behind Club Estudiantes.
And five days later they climbed to joint third place in Pro A on a 9-6 record with a victory at Pau, TJ Lux playing a starring role for the winners with 21 points and eight rebounds.
The American had assistance from guard Laurent Sciarra, who chipped in with 14 points and six rebounds, and Maleye Ndoye (17 points).
The game looked to be slipping away from Dijon at half-time, with Pau holding a 45-38 lead going into the interval.
But a terrific third quarter, which Dijon won 22-7, turned the game on its head.
Michael Wright (18 points) and CC Harrison (17 points) were the top scorers for Pau, who are now 13th in the table.
In Sunday's other match, Roanne beat fellow high-fliers Chalon 85-83 to lift themselves to 26 points, the same total as their vanquished opponents.
Roanne are second in the table and Chalon third. Both are a point adrift of leaders Nancy. |
