JDA Dijon could be about to hit their stride in France and Europe.
That is one lesson to be drawn from Sunday's comprehensive 86-69 triumph over fellow EuroCup side Adecco ASVEL.
Before that contest, Dijon had won just four of their opening nine games in the league.
Maleye Ndoye followed up his impressive performance in the 85-68 midweek victory over Iscar Nahariya with 17 points against ASVEL, but Terrance Johnson, who did not play in the European encounter, led the way on Sunday with 22 points.
Johnson was nine of 14 from the floor, including four of six from three-point range.
Dijon held a slender 45-40 lead at half-time but pulled away in the second half.
They have now won five of their 10 games in a very competitive French league, while ASVEL are 6-4.
Roanne continued their remarkable campaign with a 94-81 success at Pau Orthez.
Dewarick Spencer, who is averaging 23 points this season for Roanne, had 24 to lead five scorers in double figures.
Nancy lost 86-81 at home to Orleans and are now 8-2, level with Chalon/SaƓne who romped to a 79-53 triumph over Bourg.
