Adecco ASVEL are top of the Pro A standings after beating Le Mans 66-45 on Sunday.
The EuroCup participants got a game-high 15 points from American Brian Greene, while Sy Amara and Rowan Barrett added 13 each.
Le Mans were overawed by the league leaders, and Yannick Bokolo (14) was the only man to get into double figures.
There were mixed fortunes for France`s other EuroCup teams as JDA Dijon beat Cholet 74-67 to move up to fifth, while seventh-placed BCM Gravelines were edged out 87-83 at Roanne.
American TJ Lux played the full 40 minutes for Dijon and led all scorers with 29 points, also adding 11 rebounds.
For Gravelines, Paccelis Morlende (13), Dainius Adomaitas (12) and Rickey Paulding (11) all registered in double figures.
Second-placed Orleans used a balanced attack with four players in double figures to beat lowly Reims 69-57.
Nancy are third after beating Chalon-sur-Saone 92-68 behind 27 points from Cedrick Banks.
Fourth-placed Le Havre were pushed hard by Besancon but emerged 86 81 winners as Joah Tucker scored 22 points and Babacar Cisse, Ali Traore and Tony Stanley added 14 points each.
Paris beat Strasbourg 74-65, Pau-Orthez saw off Clermont 81-66 and Hyeres-Toulon routed Bourg 73-49. |
